I lost my son to suicide In May of 2017. 4 months later, I adopted a 6 year old Shih-poo I named Princess Buttercup from the Denver Animal Shelter. She has one blue eye and one brown eye and bonded to me instantly. I am convinced my son (who had blue eyes) and God sent me this dog. She has been my constant companion and emotional support. I have been diagnosed with PTSD, in therapy and on antidepressants for years. I have struggled with how to keep my son’s memory alive and how to honor our little balls of fur love. These stories are what I came up with. My love for my family, human and furry, love of travel and love of words inspired me to create these trips that will hopefully inspire children to ask lots of question like, “What does that word mean?” or “Can I go there someday?”
At Bubbles Publishing Limited, our mission is to provide a platform for the Princess Buttercup and Westley learning adventures and to benefit Suicide Prevention and Awareness. A portion of all proceeds goes to this worthy cause.
